the good sandwich by Stefan Shayiskun:
50 dollar roast beef charter select, shallots bathed in a balsamic vinegar for 30 mins at 400 in a aluminum boat. red, yellow, and orange bell peppers cut in half sprinkle olive oil over and roast with shallots. chop both up and mix sit a side. 2 cups of dukes mayonnaise and add cup of finely chopped basil stir. let that sit in the refrig for at least an hour so the mayo can soak up the oil from the basil. The mayo will turn green that is when you know its done. get sour dough bread. Heat a pan add enough olive oil to only coat the bottom of the bread lightly. add the mayo/basil combo to one slice of bread. Make sure to put enough to get a decnet amount on it. Then add the shallot/pepper mix on that bread with the mayo/basil. Then chop up the charter select roast beef and add that to the other slice. put both in the pan that has the hot olive oil in it. add mozzarella to the top of the meat. wait for 2 mins then add together and then add to plate.
